Just showing some scale at a local spot down south. Excited to have it all to ourselves as we showed up for sunrise.

Probably the greatest part about avoiding interstates on a road trip is discovering places you never knew existed. That was my experience with Black Canyon National Park.

The Corona Arch is just outside of Arches National Park in Utah and is a pretty easy hike back to see it and the Bow Tie Arch. The whole area is pretty amazing.

My sister and I went backpacking in Arches National Park over the summer. In some panic ridden state, we woke up and barely caught the sunrise.

We drove out to Moab from SLC and needed to get out on the trails immediately. The legendary Slickrock trail just on the outskirts of Moab was the most logical choice. It was a great day to be out with low flying clouds and azure sky.

While hiking through Arches National Park in Utah we were looking to gain a new perspective of the landscape and before we knew it we were standing on this lookout admiring an endless maze of sandstone.

After a long morning of exploring Arches National Park in Utah, my good friend asked me to take pictures of him as he boarded down the road. After doing so, I looked back and couldn’t help but get caught up in the beauty of what we were surrounded by. I laid down on the cool pavement and tried to capture the majestic scenery combined with the presence of man all in beautiful unity.

The Green river overlook is one of the most photographed points in Canyonlands National Park. This particular evening, there were hardly 3 photographers waiting for the sun to set over the Green River as it cut through the Island in the Sky. Definitely felt a very special occasion for photography.

On our x-country travel we stopped at our favorite National Park, Canyonlands in Utah near Moab. In Canyonlands is an arch called Mesa, just a short hike away. We always stop here. Luckily we got here just as the sun was setting and every couple minutes the sky and landscape changes colors. If you squat down, you can make the arch frame the view like so.
